Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice of Young People about "Isi Piringku"
"Isi Piringku” (IP) is a 2017 campaign about Indonesian Balanced Nutrition Guideline, replacing
the well-known 1952 slogan called “4 Sehat 5 Sempurna.” Aside from unfamiliarity with IP, young
people (26.46% of Indonesia’s population) should be prioritized because: (1) they retain and spread
their developed behavior, (2) their nutritional status affects offspring’s health, (3) urban young people
(especially in Jakarta, Indonesia’s most populated city) are more likely to be obese due to sedentary
lifestyle and increased consumption of high sugar-salt-fat foods. Hence, the main objective of the
study was to assess the relationship between knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) of IP with age,
gender, education level and major, SES, body satisfaction (BS), accessibility, food choice factors (FCF),
and source of IP information. Data were collected in a cross-sectional study involving 413 young
