Welcome to i3L Learning Resources Centre (LRC)! Our LRC will be a vital part of your academic experience at Indonesia International Institute for Life-Sciences.
i3L LRC exists to support the teaching, learning and research programs of the Institute through the provision of high quality services and facilities which include access to a range of printed and digital resources primarily in the field of life-sciences.
i3L LRC is located on 4th floor of i3L campus building.
LRC Services
1. Access to Electronic resources
The electronic resources at http://library.i3l.ac.id is a gateway to the electronic resources of the LRC. Full electronic services can be obtained through the internet workstations at library.
2. Book Loan Service
The i3L students, faculty members, and staff can use their i3L ID cards to enter lrc and borrow library materials.
3. Borrowing and Returning
Circulation materials are cheked out and returned at the Circulation Counter. Users must use their own i3L ID cards to check out library materials.
4. Overdue and Losses
Borrowers are responsible for returning their loan on or before the due date. Late return library material is subject to an overdue fine and the amount which is specified in the library regulations. For lost or damaged item, borrowers are liable for the cost of replacement plus shipping and/or processing fees.
5. Renewals
A maximum of one renewal may be made by loan. Users may renew their loans at Circulation Counter.
6. LRC Notices
Currently students/faculty members/staff can receive LRC notices timely through their i3L email account.
LRC Collection
1. Print Collection
This collection includes subjects in life-sciences. In addition to general books, the collection also includes other publications such as conference proceedings, papers, and dissertation.
Books are arranged according to the Dewey Decimal Classification System (DDC). Subject guides are available giving location numbers for specific subjects.
1.2. Faculty Resources Collection
This collection contains teaching materials, such as faculty’s guide as well as course books.
1.3. Reserve Collection
The reserve collection contains media materials reserved by faculty members of specific programs and modules. Students can access Reserve Collection and borrow items at the Circulation Counter. Most reserve items are for 14-day loan. Remaining items are for in-house use only.
1.4. Reference Collection
The Reference Collection consists of materials supporting both quick fact-finding and in depth research such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, directories, almanacs, atlases, bibliographies, indexes, abstracts, etc. All reference materials are not for loan.
1.5. Serials Collection
The Library subscribes print journals. Hardcopy journals are shelved alphabetically by title.
Guides to journal titles within a specific discipline are available.
Current unbound journals are placed on the display shelves whereas journal back issues are bound and shelved in adjacent stacks.
All serials, whether bound or unbound, are available for consultation inside the Library only.
1.6. Newspaper and Magazine
The LRC subscribes newspapers and magazines. Newspapers and magazines are shelved in the periodicals area. They are for use in the library only.

2. E-Books
The LRC provides e-books. They are available at the Library Website and can be accessed remotely by faculty members, students and staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any location. You must be logged in using your i3l email to access e-books.
3. Scientific Publication
The library provides scientific publication from faculty members and students.
4. Media Resources Collection
The Library’s media resources collection includes DVDs, CDs, computer software and microforms. It also features an extensive coverage of films and documentaries.

There is one (1) discussion room which can be used for users [4 seat, round table, whiteboard, and marker]
3. Lockers
Users can make use of the available lockers for the safe-keeping of valuable items. Every locker key is obtainable at the library counter.
4. Online Public Access Catalogue
Users can make use of the OPAC services of the library to facilitate the search for materials in the library.
5. Reading Area & Individual Study
The Library provides a variety of study areas to accommodate different ways of studying. Find the right one for you. The majority of the study spaces in the Library are intended for individual, quiet study.
